what is the right time to start the perparation for cat08???
im a resident of bhubaneswar.im aiming for cat08.here IMS is starting its '08 batch from aug n TIME from jan next yr.as i ve recievd the response from you guys earlier that TIME mock test are good i intend to join TIME.but i want to know will i be wasting time by waiting till jan or should i join in jul.?

Depend upon your level of preparation and knowledge but staring in july 07 for CAT08 is just too early but it has its own advantages like you 'll be attending classes twice in week and you can spread your preparation over a long period of time
But then there is a good chance that you might not remain in same motivation level for such a long time.
So finally its your decision.
Thumb rule : Try any previous CAT paper on this site if you can score more than 25% of the total mark then 6 mnths of preparation shd be sufficient and if it is less then you need some more time. Give emphasize to the section where you score less
